Really good n useful

not much for the money. Why are some topics only written in phonetic spelling? to really speak mandarin chinese you have to know the meaning of words...I expected more!

No chinese character No tones for pinyin

Too many useless phrases, better for entertainment than anything! Example: " I have 1 suitcase" equals 1 of the 80 included things it can say! Well what if I want to say I have 3 suitcases..... It has a button for the " 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9" as a whole clip, but not separate, so how do you use it? sign language STOP when it gets to the number you were trying to express? What, then tap "I have 1 suitcase" and let the other person ASSUME THE MEANING OF THE NUMBER 3 (if they even understood that part) and then substitute it in the sentence? better off getting the other kinds of apps that allows you ton piece together what you want to say by taking sections of a sentence and assembling it yourself!

I think not only I can comfortably go to any china town in the world or for that reason to china itself with this app, I can also impress someone along the way. Its a good pick up line for singles. Sure this app will not only help you learn Chinese easily, but can get you stuff you are looking for in china or the Chinese speaking communities. I can practice this with my 7 year old.

It would be nice if you could slow down the speech to better understand it. Unless I missed where you can do this already. Some phrases go by too fast to pick up the proper pronunciation.

Its very simple for such a complicated language.

Maybe in just stupid, but the Aleah dies not work for me at all. There is no sound in this device. Luckily it was only for free..because it needs more phrases.

No audio/sound in iPhone 5. What a rip off. Recommend everyone avoid the app, and perhaps all of this. Vendors apps. Too bad, the Japanese app made this purchase look promising. If I could submit a zero star rating I would. Hope a 5 star rating will be up front and centre so you can avoid this mistake before you gift this vendor any more money.

I use this app when approaching visitors to our little town! They always respond positively! Great conversation starter!

I work with several oriental gentleman this should be good to see if its mandarin or Cantonese.

Its not enough to communicate with Chinese. Youll certainly lost your way in China even if you got all these words. Good luck!!

This app problem and crash with ios 9.3.2

Buy this ap and unless your phone does not change expect it to become non-functioning after a short while. Had the ap a few months and it will not load now. Wii not buy anything else by this developer.
